In 1633 Galileo was imprisioned for saying the obvious- the earth was round. He was not the first to say this, yet he was the first punished for it. He was later followed by countless others who indeed found this to be true.
I now bring up the case of Peter Chung. In 2001 He held that he was going to tag every chick in a foreign land. Chung proclaimed to the world "Chung is King". He was quickly dismissed from his job as he were a heretic booted from the church.
