I'm making a typeface

well, it's in the very beginning stages. all I have right now is a logotype of the name of the typeface. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions about it, or have have seen anything similar - which would suck. thanks.

i like it, but wonder if people will see letters inside the negative spaces
like a P inside the B, etc.

the width of the c and the o look different, plus other anomolies, this bothers me.

isn't making typefaces something for typographers?
on the other hand, it can be a good excercise for graphic designers to understand type better.
but i am afraid it will never be as good. :(
