lacks structure. The colours need exploring more as they don't seem to fit. I'd try to use one big photo with 2 smaller ones, it's quite boring right now. Doesn't make me want to read the text...

I like the first one better but ditch the shading on the lines.
The line length for the body text is too long. Also maybe adjust the line height of the text..
Show a rollover state for the nav.
Maybe add a title to what section your in on the body text.
maybe make the background color less pink or less soft more africa maybe earthtones?
