When filling in the SA form, do I need to deduct VAT from purchases, even though I am not VAT registered?
- MrMackem0

do what is to your best advantage, ie leave the vat on.
the IR are light years behind, they're just delighted you volunteer to pay a little tax

(Apr 3 06, 07:50)heh! I'm loving the current Tax and Inland revenue ads on telly right now. A real shady bloke in a pub, obviously dodge talks about how he's not going to give a reciept or do a good job and is as bent as a 9 bob note.
Because all people who dodge tax are shady and no one has ever been ripped off by someone who pays tax.
In fact we should all be grateful to the tax office for keeping us all safe at night.
