I have a client that wanted a logo re-design. Her business is making and designing wedding invitations, but specifically destination wedding invitations. The company name is Par Avion (by air), and she wanted a clean logo that portrayed the "by air" and invitation theme. She gave me the color scheme and this is what I have got so far.

Any advice or help would be great.
Thanks,

I like the font on the top ones better, and I like the icon on the right, but pull it off the text "D" just a bit to the left.
Nice work. The one on the far left reminds me of the mark the post office puts over a stamp after it's gone through the mail.

Keep trying things. I really like the colours, they work great for wedding invitations but not sold on the designs. If you need an icon try incorporating it into the type. Maybe play with traditional elements like ornatamental shapes in a modern way.

honestly, that looks like something I would do. get someone better to do it for a 50/50 split

or maybe use a nice script that feels air mail like - look at vintange travel posters too

Thanks all, I'm gonna move some things around and try a few new things.
Cheers.

You might want to try making it less bold, awkward and masculine. How many men are the ones looking at various wedding invitation designer's portfolios?
Also, try looking at some wedding invites first, or if you already have, find some better ones...

1)slather some paint on your buttcheeks
2)sit on a canvas
3)send them a bill

it looks too literal to me. simply looks like you've tried to emulate a the official post office details from a postcard, which to me doesn't scream wedding invitation. As suggested by someone above, I'd look at old handcrafted printmaking marks, decorative stuff, and put a modern slant on it.
*laughs at paint-lathered buttcheeks

i like the direction of the bottom row, they seem to unify it as a whole. although i'm not entirely sold on the type treatments, keep experimenting.

Keep working with it I like the colors, maybe make Design not as big,it seems too big, maybe smaller and secondary, and make it more delicate. just suggestions, I think your in a good direction.

looks nice - good start...
some thoughts:
1. i am not sure about the 15c detail... a bit distracting...
2. use more sophisticated fonts... with more subtle curves... its hard to find a good serif / sans serif combination but its worth looking
3. i see where youre going with that last one but i think this is a trend and will pass... i am sick of seeing those crest logos everywhere... (tshirts at the mall... mtv... comedy central... many many portfolio sites... I hope I am not stepping on any toes here ... ;-)good work - continue with this theme....

I looked at the logos before I read your description- and the first thought that came to mind was something to do with water.. and I'm not sure if this is what you want to communicate.. or I could be the only one here..

nout to do with weddings there.
Simplify and it needs to look much more stylish. doesn't look like a "clean logo" to me.
Got anymore ideas there?
