They range anywhere from $300 to $1500 depending on condition and modification.
Mine is pretty much stock except for drag pipes, clubman bars and a black paint job. (I know, i'm in it for the looks.)
I too am a drive-too-fast. but this little guy is fun and can't get you into TOO much trouble.

As far as aesthetics go, modern streetfighters are pretty bad ass. i haven't ridden enough bikes to make a comparison beyond that. :(

I have 78 Vespa P200 damn thing is bulletproof... If I ever get the ways and means though my dream scooter is Lasmbretta's SX 200...
They've been going for about $8000 lately... $8000 grand for a scooter! Insanity.
