sorry, i was excited to go but was disappointed after being there for 15 mins.tk, just break down and buy a motorcycle. you can go anywhere you want.
Philadelphia museum of art is a good daytrip. Or head north to New Haven... there's some cool art/literature/historical stuff on the Yale campus

i went to montauk last week. it was freezing and raining.
but in the summer it should be beautiful. beaches.
$29 LIRR, though quite a long commute.

yeah, i thought about getting a motorcycle for a while after my buddy bought ducati.
i wanna buy a car now. if i don't travel for like 3months, i go crazy. and i am at that point, i just need to get the fuck out of the city.

Cold Spring, NY is beautiful.
you can take the train right there from Grand Central and walk to the mountain. there is a quaint little town there and you buy a map at the hiking store for trails.

-this park is awesome access to ellis island and statue of liberty, plus some neat things on the grounds. you can walk to ellis island over a bridge now.

i've gone to sandy hook on that speed ferry a lot during the summer. it's like 40min away from the city. really really nice. a bit of hike from the ferry stop. it's best to take a bike. we used to take rollerblades instead.
