So, I just went out and bought a PSP and bought the Grand Theft Auto game for it and can't put the damn thing down.
I was wondering if any of the other fellow newstoday people had one and if so what are some games you would recommend.

Socom is highly addictive plus you can play online. Been playing a lot of Burnout Legends too - good driving game with replayability.

Thank you so much for the info. If you are a fan of the Grand Theft Auto games the Liberty City game has been pretty entertaining. Also, do you guys buy movies for it at all or rather use the memory card?

I can't imagine buying a movie for it. ever. Perhaps for an airplane ride, but they usually have a selection to choose from, and I'd rather play a game. why buy a movie for a screen that 1/20 the size of your normal tv? They'd have to be some KICK ASS movies exclusive to PSP for me to care.

yeah, wipeout pure is a fav of mine. i've gotten so much play out of that game. i've got me and my katamari on order from lik-sang at the moment.

just psp. if you haven't already been unlucky enough to play it, please avoid wipeout fusion on the ps2. it's a turd compared to the rest of the series.

i second the Socom, and add Ridge Racers. I also find myself playing the Namco collection of old school games. I sneak it when she doesn't know.

My little brother bought a PSP... 2 months after buying a video iPod. I guess watching TV on the subway wasn't entertaining enough. I was sickened.
I can't believe people are THAT bored on their commute.
It's sad, really.

Since I am going out on tour for 2 months I needed some other form of entertainment other then a bottle of beer. I think the PSP is a great grab for all the features it has.

PSPWare from Nullriver.com is worth getting to sync up iTunes playlists / Movies / iPhotos etc.
