ID3 tags/Search engines

I've found that some of my mp3's are findable via search engine. but even though my mp3's are all tagged using iTunes, not all of them are searchable.
Having trouble finding any sort of documentation on this. Anyone got tips on this?

actually I was looking for something relating to search engines and ID3 tags

cant you just do the robots text file and have no robots scan that directory?

no I'd want robots to scan the directory.
the problem is some of my mp3's come up in search engines while others don't. those mp3's come up because the query matches something in the ID3 tags. that's cool. it's just that I added the tags to the mp3's the same way using the same tool so I'm trying to figure what's what
so looking for a resource online that discusses search engines and ID3 tags
