versa, are you in new york?
if so, just go down to jammyland on 3rd street and look at all the record covers -- you'll find plenty of that style there.

i thought you were asking as to what kind of style the illustration was... I didn't think it was a certain style but all the work on the page seemed familiar... They all seem "influenced" by michael leon's work. "influenced" is putting it nicely others would say "biting" or blatantly "ripping"

are you joking johnny quest, that is a record sleeve/flyer stlye that dates back to like like late 70's, so how are they ripping Michael Leon?

just research the music styles; reggae, rocksteady, roots, dub, ska..
check out records covers here, and lots of other record labels to link to:

"all the work on the page seemed familiar... "
it wasn't one but the work collectively... specifically the trumpet with the buttons which says Ubiquity loves you" looks a lot like a commonwealth stacks shirt that was made about a year and a half ago. the disco star shirt the reaching new heights shirt... all very "influenced"

Look up "two tone" as well.

R. Black does a lot of ska posters but his have a modern spin:
his ska girls are hot.

versa, also look at old hip hop fliers from the late 70's - early 80's. They actually resemble the style of that shirt more.
