Hi,
Looking for a seriffed font that has nice round letterforms, similar to the sans-serif Avant Garde, but more finesse.thanks in advance

slab serif, yes

ok, you win but slabs don't have enough finesse. I'm think Baskerville/sabon -esque but more open and round

serif gothic is the only serif i can think of with a single storey "a" and was drawn by the same man.
i don't think you'll find any old style serifs out there that mimic the geometric shapes of ag.

(Mar 22 06, 13:40)I only used Avant Grade as an example as it's the first one that came to my head that's round and open. Not Necessarily looking for something so geometric.
I am using Americana at the mo.
