so i went paragliding in garmisch off those mountains, the alpspitze, it was crazy - the europeans don't care how risky you are, but if you get hurt/die then tough - anyway, skied in the morning, then took my wing up the tram and launched right on the freaking ski run, it was rad - i had 2 flights.
that place is so pretty, i loved it there.

Zugspitze is pretty awesome. It's got a serious park too, and it's featured in a lot of boarder mags. Been there a couple times myself. It's funny that I recognize that hotel they stayed in. I've driven past it before.
I'll be in the Austrian Alps in 3 days.

i just got back from austrian alps. shit was ridiculous. we got like 6 feet of snow the time we were there.

yea, it was wicked. Shame there is no half pipe this year due to glacier errosion. The jumps were kind of small compared to Tahoe/Whistler but were fun for a weekend. Thsi kid in the park was telling me that David Benedickt build a tabletop there a few days before we arrived and was launching 65 feet high above the flat! He threw down a double cork switch 1080. Nuts.
