I am not going to hold my breath until I see Vista running on it. Then I'll consider an Apple.
Don't care for OSX, nor does 3D Studio run on it. But they are damn pretty.

why would you do that
- VectorMasked0
i'd do that coz I hate macs

i once saw a rare classic Ferrari for sale and the owner claimed he had put a Chevrolet engine in it so he could use the car for daily drives etc.. He said you can find a Ferrari engine for sale somewhere and put it back in, as if it would be exact the same engine with same serial.
when i read it i hoped the guy would loose the ability to drive or touch a car for the rest of his life. cunt.
not that i am comparing apple with ferrari..
but it's just completely ridiculous.

depends what you want to do with Windows on a Mac, but really dual-boot can be less useful than a compatibility environment like Virtual PC , that lets you cut-n-paste between Windows and OSX, and lets you run several versions of Windows all at once for testing...
I mainly use Windows just for testing our site, using Microsofts Remote Desktop Connection to run a remote session on my Dell at home... screen refresh is a bit slow, but works fine, and I can have the RDC window alongside a Mac browser on the screen for comparison..

dual boot would be cool.

For purely nerdy purposes I got osx and xp dual booting on my PC.
It feels like you're breaking the laws of nature.
One thing I noticed is osx doesn't like my video card and the clock get's screwed between os's. Otherwise, it's a bit of neat fun. If you have an x86 chip it's fairly painless.

i dont get it, virtual pc has been around for ages, why do people care?
- ribit0
and Virtual PC (or whatever non-MS product replaces it) will be really speedy as it will no longer be doing Intel chip emulation, it will only be handling virtualization.
