Hmmm, I thought all the choices were very retro, Concorde is a defunct plane that is not in use anymore. The spitfire was the best fighter in the battle of Britain but was soon surpassed. Shame we can't make planes like that today. At least the tube map has stood the test of time and is always evolving

yeah, I think the tube maps cool and a seriously good piece of design, but I'd see concorde as more of an 'icon', certainly internationaly...

Concorde is out of date and was never a real success. Obviously the designer didn't have soda's success hat on. I think we would have a hard time looking for icons that have been designed in the last two decades

again though guys, I state the case for catseyes. they should have won, they save lives, they've lasted decades they're cheap and they look cool as fuck and I remember them from when I was a kid which is the most important thing.

I've got a catseye at home. When I was a kid somewhere in a tailback on a motorway in england there was one half detached from the road. I made it fully detached and put it in my pocket. A good early steal.
