I was just thinking that skt!
Anyway, I don't mind some things with similarities to skulls or x's, such as nose piercings or studs. I have one, and I actually want to get a small x-shaped stud to put in. I've already found a skull one but decided not to purchase it.
When you say SPIN, do you mean the design magazine?

(Mar 15 06, 15:00)SPIN music mag...

that's what I thought of first.
This is what Metric have on their website:
RIP Spin Magazine
Any clue what they're talking about? A fight perhaps?

I've seen you pimp this band metric a ton.
Are they any good? i think they're coming to Portland soon.
What is the design mag SPIN?
The rawk mag SPIN used to be good. I cancelled my subscription when they started putting CREED on the cover every other month. Now we cashed in our sky miles and I get like 20 mags a month.
SPIN being on of them.

I absolutely love Spin for music, but sometimes I really dislike the person they are interviewing in an issue. They can be horrid at times, and amazing for others when you're just looking for someone to listen to.
And, I was thinking about
http://spin.co.uk/ so that's not a magazine. Just a bit confuzzled, I guess.Metric is amazing, especially live. I was just wondering why they may be in bad terms with Spin. Maybe it's even for the reasons outlined in this thread! That they're getting too trendy, having bad articles or something. But that's a bit far-fetched.

I have never personally heard Fall Out Boy or My Chemical Romance but I guess they're popular with the kids in high school.

(Mar 15 06, 15:24)That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about. They're okay to have a feature about inside the magazine, but Spin of obviously putting them on the cover to get more readers - which will result in them losing others.
