My wife and I are heading to Boston next week for a conference she is attending. It will fall on our 4 year anniversary. Do you guys know of anything cool going on March 23-25?
I will be out solo during the day and I need some places to check out. I will also need to know of any cool places to take my wife to during the nights. She says the hotel we are staying is near "One Avenue de Lafayette"...of coarse this means nothing to me...but I would appreciate any suggestons to places around that area.

um, well, if you like art, check out the mfa:
http://www.mfa.org
they've got a show of david hockney portraits up
for specific listings as to what's going on, check out the phoenix:
http://www.bostonphoenix.com
or the weekly dig:
http://www.weeklydig.com/
weekly dig comes out new on wednesdays, phoenix on thursdays, they'll break it down day-by-day as to what's good to do.
For a romantic evening, maybe do the North End thing, dinner at a nice upscale Italian joint.

well we just had a couple days in the 60s, but the rest of the week is 40° tops.
check weather.com a few days before you leave, definitely bring a good windbreaker, maybe gloves if you're gonna walk around (Boston is excellent for walking around).
