im going to get a 20" monitor to go along with my 12" pb...do i need to get any extra cords or cables to hook them up?
- todelete__20
no but you'll need some twine.

dont forget your iCockRing! You will need it to interface with your new equipment.

not that the monitor is shite by any means... you just never know when you're going to need twine.
i'm thinking of dropping the coin to get one too here pretty soon.
if you got a pb (i think i remember you saying). it should have come with the wires you'll need to hook it up to the pb. hopefully you kept them in the box or put in a drawer somewhere in your house. my ibook and pb both came with everything i needed to attach an external monitor.

the display has a multi-connecter cable that plugs into your DVI port, USB port and power.

Working on a 20" and a 15" PB, you'll love it!

what kind of cords are you wearing?

thanks for the info guys.
im actually working on a 12" pb for small freelance jobs at home. its totally not enough room, so adding a 20 will be wicked

the dell flatpanels are 100% as good as the apple ones and like ridicu-cheaper

I have Dell 24 and Apple 23... Dell is better value... (does more stuff too, like rotate, go up and down, multi-input etc)...but the Apple has better color, angle-view brighness consistency, and isnt so damn bright!

i've got a 20" apple monitor and a 12 inch, you need a dvi converter thingy, because the 12 inch lap has a smaller dvi port than the other laptops , "dvi to small dvi" or something its called
- auricom0
which should be in the box that came with your PB.
- auricom0
i think.

can't remember, I think it might of come with something, with the monitor probably more than the laptop

it's called a mini dvi adapter and if you have a 1.5ghz powerbook then it certainly came with it. your powerbook came with two of them, one for vga and one for dvi, you probably need the dvi. oh, could of come with the older powerbooks too, i dont know i have one of the 1.5s

I just got a 23" bad boy (through work I might add – I ain't got 750squid spare!)... who else has got one?! it's awesome, but the screen burn (or whatever you call it) is fucking terrible... minimize a window and... pow... it's still there! i can deal with it, but is that sorta shit normal?
Ps. yeah, i was hammered last night, think i still am.
