Pregnancy Stress

I had the most stressful weekend of my life this past weekend and it's just now hitting me how huge this is.
My wife's 32 weeks pregnant (today starts 32 weeks). Saturday we had our birthing class where they tell you how to breathe and all that stuff. At the end of the class, my wife decides it'd be a good time to go into labor... 2 months early! Good thing we were at the hospital already. They stopped the contractions, gave the baby some steroids, and put wifey to bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy.
It's crazy how she can have this baby at any time now, and we thought so much more stuff would be ready by the time Maya enters the world.
I'm sure she'll (they'll ) be fine... I'm just a bit freaked out about now.
Keep them in your thoughts, prayers, doodles, or what have you please.
I'll let you know when she's arrived and they're all good!

hey man
that must be the most stressful thing possible.
some friends of mine were in a similar situation a few years ago, my friend gave birth 2 1/2 months early and everyone was worried the baby might have brain damage or something due to being so early but she's turned out TOTALLY fine. she was smaller than my hand when she was born, crazy!
but now roo is the smartest happiest 3 year old i know and the parents are just about ready for another one now, haha.
best of luck to you and your wife and your baby :)

(Mar 9 06, 12:23the baby sleeps 20+ hours a day the first 6 months. (normally) So there should be plenty of time for that.
Relax dude, it's gonna fine. Once that little face looks at you, you will not stress another second. You will feel like on top of the hole world

Funny how relaxed I was getting my first kid, and how stressed I get when my girlfriend talks about getting another one.

thanks for all the hope and encouragement... we're excited to see what she looks like.
We adopted a little boy in May, that we were in the delivery room for and I cut the cord and all, weird thing is he looks just like us. So we're really curious to see how Maya looks.
Sleep? What's that? I take care of Josh, the 9 month old teething genius while Jess sleeps, work a full time job, and put about 6 - 9 hours into freelancing a night. Ha... sleep!
