how's the new job there k0na?!

Yo Madirish. The job is pretty cool although they are definitely easing me into the work. The lady who hired me is out this week on vacation, and today 5 people are out sick. Kinda quiet. I had to work on some *gulp... PowerPoint stuff earlier in the day as the 'PowerPoint guy' is out sick. 90% of the stuff going on now is print so the print designers are working on some cool shit... I'm just surfing enjoying the calm before the inevitable storm.
Thanks for asking!
And yes, you really should have a kona clause cause I will totally take my pants off at this party.
- madirish0
yo man!
i have had the same thing happen on new position as well. the shit will hit it soon enough, no problem on a little calm while you can get it.
man, if i am ever known as a 'poerpoint guy' hit me in the head with a hammer. glad to hear it is treating you well though.

As long as you pay the $75-$88 for the ticket to get in the door.

kOna,
Where are you at now? Downtown?

wtf is Architecture for Humanity

haha madirish... me too. I had to think for a sec before I told them I knew PowerPoint. If I said yes I was afraid they'd make me use it. If I said no I didn't want to be the new guy who doesn't know PP. Luckily my Spider senses told me there was already a shmuck who said he knew PP better than I. haha.
archiwaq. Did you guys by chance send out anything in the mail? Last night I got something in the mail I believe for this event. Someone comped me 2 tickets and requested that I go.
I can't say for sure it was to this event, but I know the ticket price said $88 on it.
Hmmm...

some of that shit looks better than suburban sprawl

Exactly, AFH goes into disaster areas to rebuild, but with the sense that good design can bring. They don't just throw up a bunch of cookie-cutter habitat homes that have no sense of place.
