I went 3 years ago with some people from work. 1 hard core gamer and another average marketing dude like myself. The average dude and I almost tripped over ourselves because a line of real playboy bunnies just passed us. He yelled did you see that to the hard core gamer and he said I know I can't believe Medal Gear Solid Snake Eater is playing on that huge jumbotron.

Highly reccomend this expo to any fan of video games, and really anyne can get in with the right credentials (*coughphotoshop)
plus its free is u register b4 may i think ,
there will be booth babes but they cant dress like whore bags anymore ...ah shucks!

If you work in the industry you see a lot of this stuff before E3.
It's a social event for artists, producer and programmers... and a place of business for everyone else to start talkin big contracts, selling properties, pitching to major brands for co sponsorships (car, clothing brands and the like) and advertising deals.
It's the T and the A. Personally, 1 afternoon is usually enough after all these years. Last year I didn't see anything too exciting. A bunch of publishers were missing, actually.
The parties are fun, though. You can't beat all the free garb, food, drinks and crazy performances and apperances.
How about that Prince of Persia movie? I hear conversations are floating around YUM! It's about time.
