half of NT is on it ... yea it caused a small up roar ... and seemed pointless to many , so i was just curious to see where this idea came from ??

i'm surprised... most papers stopped doing blotters because of legality and false claim issues.

My hometown did for a while, small town, around 25,000 at the time.
My dad read our weekly paper, and saw the names of two guys that were good friends of mine several grades earlier in 5th-6th grade.
He was kind of mad, he thought they were good kids, and here they were with warrants or arrest info for nearly beating someone to death and robbing them out in this forest that people partied in and drove 4x4s.

small and suburban towns all do this. There is a company in Milwaukee that owns all of these suburban ad rags and they all publish the arrest rolls.

our town had "the police beat" and it was an honor to get on it.

in high school I got busted drinking by some suburban cops and my name was in that paper, luckily we lived in the city and my mom was definitely not reading those shitty piggly wiggly coupon papers.
