One of Africa's great musicians. He was superb. Always loved the stuff he recorded with Ry Cooder.

That's sad, he was a truly great musician who did so much to bring 'world music' to the forefront.
I'm glad Ry Cooder does so much with such a diverse range of musicians, he's great too. Awesome slide player and composer
