Re-creating traditional posters seems like a good way to get better at what you do.
I dont think his intention was to claim he created the design. The poster is obviously a traditional communist era design.
Looks more like inspiration then a rip to me.

by the way the work is listed as by Anonymous, so who really owns it? Do you think that poster place just found the original, traced it, and sold it? Is that any different?

that poster place sells originals from the 30s, not knockoffs. You'll prolly have to shell out $500+ to take that home.
