First round of logo creation for a company called translation plus...
Any comments / crits / etc on the initial ideas are much appreciated.

A little elp please, what do they do?

Sorry about not sending as a clickable link...
They are a translation bureau. Translating stuff from Swedish to English. Small bureau.

I like the idea of using the lower case 't' in conjunction with the plus symbol but I would recommend trying it with different typefaces...
I also think that, as an icon, this would work better without a larger shape around it, i.e. the square...

Not DIN far to construction/industrial for me.
None of them are doing it for me.
Think about the "+' as a T??

i'd look to the national flags for inspiration, especially the colours.

How'd you mean?
Anyone recommend a font which may be better for this project?
Tips welcome and appreciated btw, I'm a newbie.

Hi Bluejam, my first ideas were based around the Swedish colours and I got a row!
He said they were "taking Swedish clients to a world stage" and didn't want to use the Swedish colours. Tosswank.
However, he DID say he "wants to use green".

does the logo have to reference the importance of swedish being translated into english?
in other words, maybe use yellow and blue instead of green and black.
otherwise, i lke the top right most logo.

oops. nevermind. scratch what i said.

i think you can try a litter harder before you ask for a crit.

I like the black and grey one.
But I would definately look into working the + and the cross of the t into something.

not really.

Try a capital T with a square dot spaced above it, making a T/+ combo.
I do like the lowercase t+ merger though.

the lowercase t+ one does look cool, but it bears a strong resemblance to the japanese alphabet "se".
