I just got a new PowerBook so I'm looking to sell my much loved 15" iMac to someone who will treat it right.
I love this thing, and if I wasn't financing both computers I'd keep it.
It's a perfect 15" flat panel iMac, about 3 years old, but totally updated with software. IT'S IDEAL FOR A GRAPHIC DESIGNER, if you know what I mean. It's loaded. Currently running OS X 10.4. It'd also be good as a family computer, where you can take advantage of Apple's iLife to make your own movies, cd's, photo albums, and even your very own DVD's!
SPECS: 800MHz, PowerPC G4, 256 MB Ram, 60GB Hard Drive, Superdrive (CD/DVD burner). The computer is currently running OS X 10.4 Tiger, with iLife '05.
EXTRAS: I'll throw in a wireless keyboard (worth approx. $70), a wireless mouse (about $50), an airport card (about $85), an iSub subwoofer (about $75), a bluetooth adaptor (about $50), and a 4-port USB hub (about $20). I'll even throw in an Epson Sylus Color 1160 (approx. $385 according to Froogle) that is missing a cord, but should be working perfectly!
The software on the computer alone is worth about 3x what I'm asking.
Please feel free to e-mail me any questions you may have.
This is not the new all in one iMac...this is the one with the flat screen, silver swivel neck, and round base. VERY COOL LOOKING COMPUTER!
E-mail me () if you have questions or are interested.
THANKS and good luck!

yeah man 256ram is a lil weak
tiger must be a pain the ***
- _jens_0
yay, tiger needs 512 to run a decent speed, then PS need at least another 512..
- CincodeMayo0
Tiger is actually pretty quick on it...obviously not as quick as it would be on a G5, but it runs well.
And FYI, I meant ideal for a graphic designer due to the software I have on it, not due to the speed.
But I've done most of my work on it for years and never had a problem with the speed.

OBO?

why dont you try ebay? you might get around 600(ish) for it, fair price?
- canuck_II0
yeah ebay is your best bet, you might get round what you are looking for it on there.

Thanks...I may do ebay, it just seems like a hassle, since I'll have to pack it all up, and being that I'm including a printer, isub, etc., it may be a few boxes. I was hoping to keep it local...e-mail me if anyone is interested, if not I might give ebay a try.

you should just keep it. stop financing computers...
dude 1st rule of a designer..
make the computer pay for itself. with the quickness

Yeah, ideally that'd be awesome. I really do like the computer.
But I have a full time job that keeps me busy 12-14 hours a day, so no time for freelance, and the job doesn't pay me nearly enough. So financing it is...sucks. Totally sucks.
But hopefully someone who appreciates it will take it off my hands.
