Godzilla is fighting Mechagodzilla and Gamera is screwing around with a giant ginzu knife with eyes. Same as usual.

japan is a pretty small village, I dont think they have anything scheduled during the winter months.

btw, it's really expensive to travel around japan. you should probably plan to stay in or relatively near whatever city you're heading to...

I saw a documentary once about people in Japan with blue and magenta hair, they had massive watery eyes and furry little leopard-bears for pets.

Generally, now is not a good season in terms of weather. Rain, slush and what have you.
Wait a month and a half for hanami and find a friend here to go with. If not for the flowers go for the shine. You will love seeing the overrefreshed salarymen and how they paint each others faces with crayons.
