Hey, can anyone recommend a good resource for Design/Illustration rates? I have a really hard time with this business stuff...

Well a good book to start is the Pricing and Ethical Guide

That helps you with that sort of thing. Also on rates, a simpler equation is figuring how long it will take you, multiply by a reasonable rate and add 20% on top.
I think its something you learn over time.
