I didnt read the previous posts.
But used to take singing lessons. You just have the find the notes you can hit and stay in that range. I could only hit the basic ones so I kept my guitar tuned flat. I forget what those noted were. I still suck though it find it hard to hit notes without my guitar and even then I cant do it consistantly. But when your matching your voice to the guitar (is your playing a guitar) you will know right away its the same. So I think anyone can really sing but yes some people have a natural advantage. Depending on what you want to sing you can still do it. I'm assuming you want to sing some punky, rocky type garbage you should be ok.

sure you can learn to sing...but it will cost you more the £20
