I have a two colour job. One pantone and the other is a rich black. My images are .eps monotones in Photoshop. I run seps on it but keep getting blank cmyk pages. Should I be worried about this or is there another way to set Rich blacks in photoshop for black and white images?

if it's a rich black, meaning a four color black, then it's not a 2 color job...
Why not pick a Pantone black and set it up as 2 separate channels in Photoshop?
Or as a duotone?

yes... rich black means four color black. pick a pantone black or just black. use the multi chanel thing... if it is a logo or the like, it would be better as a vector eps.

Rick black is 4 colors! Any photoshop file will always read as 4 c. So, as long as the black is 100% black, and your pms is not in a photoshop file, u should be alright. but, if the pms is in the photoshop file, you will need to make a multi channel doc to spec it out. let me know if this helps. prob confusing you.

is it not possible to specify the rich black as a spot colour?
