I've seen Wilco twice. Once, during their AM tour. Some of the band became Son Volt members.
A spin-off of Uncle Tupelo.

Sun-Volt and Wilco were created after Uncle Tupelo split, no?
Anyhow, seen them twice, the last time at the auditorium theatre in Chicago. Great venue, great show. One of my favorite bands, they don't disapoint live.

Both Awesome, 2 incredible voices. Hard to believe they were both in the same band at one time.

They're getting so much better with age. I saw them years ago during the height of the alt country rage ( mid 90's). Wasn't to impressed.
Now I've seen 'em 3 times in the last 3 years and they're amazing! Small venues are the best. Great visuals, more rock than country. Once they even ended with "Don't fear the Reaper" with even More Cow Bell!Saw Tweedy solo last month. He's a whiney biotch. A thousand people drinking beer and he wants everyone to be whisper quiet. I understand that he plays "painfully quiet" songs but C'MON go play a coffee shop not a huge bar.
Sorry for the long rant. Listen to Yankee Foxtrot, Ghost is Born and Kicking TV.

I saw here when they were touring the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot LP.
Was really good, just sucked it was at a fest, as they had only like a 45min set.
