dreamhost.com have some crazy cheap web hosting on at the moment. I amusing MediaTemple for my own site, but need the power and space for more clients. MediaTemple's biz package costs about £30 a month, whereas an equivalent dreamhost package would cost about £7.50... what would you recomend?

can't get your site to come up, so maybe MediaTemple isn't best?

Judging purely by how often NT is down I wouldn't go anywhere near MT.

I agree, you get what you pay for. But it's all relative. More so with technology, so it's not a justified argument. On paper Dreamhost seems great, I was hoping someone could give some feedback on them etc... My own experience of MT has been been good so far, whereas determinedmoth hasn't.

I've only used MT for developing once. But I use NT everyday and in my experience it's flacky at best. And MT are quite expensive,

I am choosing between http://www.site5.com and http://www.dreamhost.com ... pity there isnt similar quality of stuff in the uk for similar prices.

I use MT for all my clients, and it works well, I never have downtime, and you have lots of control.
And is true you get what you pay for.

what about 1&1?
Tech support is shite, but if you know your stuff, you shouldn't need it.

Radar, do you have individual packages or did you get the virtual serve option?

I currently set them up individually, which is dumb on my part. I plan on getting a business package soon and then I will build hosting costs into my pricing.
