vector pattern tiles

  has anyone ever seen or used an AI pluggin to assist with creating complex pattern tiles.. ? i could have sworn i've seen a product somewhere.

  looking for something that gives you live previews of the repeating pattern as you build the single tile in its bounding box.

  and this is for print so its gotta be AI/ vector. no screen pattern generators.
