I have these 'safety stickers" from poland or somewhere that are a series of pictures of kids running into traffic after a ball, reaching up to a hot stove, etc, but because I can't read them it looks like its some sick illustrator just wanted to paint pictures of kids about to get maimed

I'd use green to denote a safety area.
using orange/red make the square cross look like the swiss flag rather than a medical cross.
screw the corporate colours.
just a thought.
In terms of logo designs I like the typographic wit of 3,4 & 8 but maybe they don't convey safety enough. Could they be altered in some way to say safety more.
Otherwise I'd go with 12.
BTW safehouse is a rubbish name. I think of abused housewives etc when I hear the word safehouse.
- mr_snuggles0
thx Baskerville, but as you may have realised, I cannot actually "screw the corporate colours", the pms is actually a punchy yellow rather then a muddy orange...
yeah safehouse is a terrible name, the Dutch are limited in coming up with good english names...
