I'm trying to save for web in Photoshop CS2 however I get the error msg: "could not complete the export command because of a program error"
Not sure why this is happening, I get it every time I go to save for web.
I'm not accessing a networked resource so I know that's not it. I guess I can just save as > jpeg for now but save for web does such a better job. Anyone help?

I get it regardless :-/
I think it might be a bad install. When i have the time I think I'm going to scrub it.

have you tried jumping to Image Ready?

Yeah my ps lags on start up and every now and then, it's even worse it seems when im listening to music and with 2 gigs of ram and a dual core processor there is no excuse for that...

I had that problem continually when i installed CS2 the first time. I copied all my plugins and presets out, uninstalled, wiped the folder from program files (not the whole adobe folder!), reinstalled, and it worked.
But yes, it does lag like a bitch. Having just moved to a bigger monitor, my res has gone up, and it's crunching even more than usual :(

Really... I think if it comes to a reinstall I'm going to dig up CS1. I never had a problem with it, come to think of it I haven't had a problem with any release of photoshop until this one...
I haven't had any problems with Illustrator, I love it but Photoshop is seriously lacking.
