Fair enough, ALIFE works hard and has kept up a precedent set within urban street art/apparel culture; and fair enough, $80 for a T-shirt is ridiculous and fronts with faux-highbrow cache, however this shit is about design, hard work, great marketing and industry respect from equally talented peers - not what or how the new ALIFE T-shirt is going to make you feel when you wear it, or if any of us will think you're cool. It's a T-shirt with some silly logo on it, turning you into a advertisment. That's silly, buit if you buy it, don't hate on ALIFE, or the guy wearing it. Everyone wins I suppose, in that case.

the word "overpriced" gets thrown around way too much. companies will sell products at whatever price the market will bear. if it was too high they'd either go out of business or lower the prices.
do I personally think that stuff is overpriced, yes, meaning i can't afford it and probably wouldn't buy it even if i could. but apparently there's enough people that can afford it and do buy it, so why would they sell lower? they have their market in expensive tees, other companies have their own market in less expensive tees. it's all good...

Everyone knows we are plunging into the apocalypse soon so can we please bicker and entertain ourselves with frivolous arguments about t-shirts in the meantime without this intellectualism? We'll be eating out of cans and cooking raccoon meat over trash fires in a few years and then we can argue about serious shit like if killing a middle aged man for his antibiotics is ethical if it will save the life of a child.
