Some of the content on the site made me chuckle... "The most radical artist" ? Hmmm...
However, I say, props to the guy, he got himself there. I'd love to get paid to do that kind of thing. And the car, I assume he got one!

"The Most Radical Artist"
Newsflash. He is an extremely talented and successful commercial artist.
Not that radical.

Very cool. Very functional.
I'm feeling this odd sensation rush over me right now. I think it's envy.... and possibly a bit of the burrito I had for lunch.
Nice work.

Actually, I see Davis as one of the few internet designers (of max 3) that will be at least a footnote in art books in the future. For the rest it is just a lot of trend-sensitive stuff which I doubt will survive the test of time. Davis' work is interesting from a conceptual point of view and the hybrid between visuals and math, the use of computers. In the vain of Maeda's work so to speak.
Beautiful...no, but conceptually more edgy than most of the self-proclaimed cutting edge, rebellious web-artist that we have seen plenty of in the last 5 years.

(Feb 21 06, 13:36)man that is nauseatingly true. footnote to that chapter:
*he also was a guy who enjoyed fucking around on a computer and got paid for it. he spent most of his fortune on tattoos and died a pauper.
