I'm trying to come up with a list of things clients say when they decide they either don't want to pay, or realize they are in the wrong.
Example: "I know so many people, this could be a great opportunity for you."
Anyone have any good ones that can be used as a tell tale sign that you're probably not getting your money without a lawsuit?

one client of mine back tracks and always repeats what I say to make it sound like it's their idea:
"The way I see it is that: (insert point I just made here)"

"He's out of the office until the end of next month and he's the only one that can deal with it"
response:
your website is offline until the end of next month and a non-payment holding page will be in place
2 days later money was in bank...genius!

Most of the time I don't have adminstrative control over the site, and they can just go in a fix it one way or another.

ha I'm about to do the same thing again...
Client: Well pay you $100 a month for the next 2 months then the rest in Jan.
Me: Fine, but I'm not making any updates until its payed in full
Jan 31: Suspend site due to non-Payment
Feb 1: Partial Payment recieved, says they will pay the rest by Apr 1st.... And they need a bunch of changes... haClient: We really need this stuff done soon
Me: I bet, you can pay me for prev work and i'll do it.
Client: We will pay by end of Mar
Me: how bout you pay me with a credit card
Client: I would like to give you a check but post date it til end of mar
Me: HA...Payment is due at the end of this week. Then I'm walking away. I don't think they realize I own the domain name. So its not like they can just move it, they will need to start over...
