Is there a way to use includes or some sort of modular design technique with strictly HTML?

meh... frames
is there a way I can drive content dynamilcally to a div in html?
for example: a mini news blog on the side of a corporate website.
Google has already indexed their pages, and they don't want to switch to php.

if yr on apache(linux) then you can use htaccess to tell the server to parse .html as .php, you could then use includes in yr html files

You can always add an invisible iframe dynamically through JS and load there whathever you want.. then transfer this node into whathever div you want. Sort of a prehistoric web 1.0 ajax thingy :]

that sounds pretty cool. Do you have any samples of that?
This site's being hosted on two different servers (don't ask)

you add this line to a .htaccess file and upload it into the root of yr server. It will then process .html, .htm files as .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html .htm
