there was site brought up a while ago now, where the designer (really nice work)
displayed work by holding pieces up against glass with a black background - almost to the effect of a photocopy of himself holding work , but with a black backgroundanyone remember who's site this was, and how the tecnique is done

Not sure if this is the one you meant, but this guy just used his scanner to get the effect.
