indesign txt scaling

  hi probably a stupid question... im using indesign CS1, when you scale a box with text in it gives you two reading for the point size eg:

  17 pt(5.57)

  im assuming this is the size it would be at 100% and the size it is actually showing at, how can you get this back to normal so you only get the one reading?
