I have back on So 9. The experience was like this.
Imagine sitting in a dark room, alone, all of a sudden a huge man enters the room, proceeds to beat the hell out of you, and then brings in 10 of his friends and they gang rape you prison stlye for hours.
Basically it was slow as hell, and crashed like a drunken prom date.

Opps, I meant OS 9.
Everything else I stand behind though.

I work at IBM and as such have to use notes. I used my mac for a stint but had to stop for other reasons. As a daily user I can tell you that the experience is absolutely no different than on a PC. So far as I could tell if you've used it on a PC then it should be the same on your mac.
That said, its buggy as hell and makes me want to cry every day.

Oh god! Avoid it like the FUCKING PLAGUE!
I hate Lotus Notes on my Mac. We use it at work and it's a bitch and a half. Perhaps THE most user unfriendly application I have EVER used.
Nothing makes sense. Nothing is where it's supposed to be. Simple tasks are rendered impossible by crappy UI's and hidden features. There are at least 3 preference areas, and they get moved around from release to release...AVOID AVOID AVOID

speaking of lotus notes in general... it's hard to believe anyone would like it, but, man, they have a loyal following.
my experiences have typically been the 'dark room' scenerio described above.
thanks, luckypp. that's the first time notes ever made me smile.
