I have just purchased Harman Kardon Soundsticks II for my iMac. The socket doesn't fit into the standard Mac audio socket, its too thick. I only purchased these because they sell them at the Apple store so I thought they might be compatible.
I have version too, I notice that the Apple store now sell 2.1?
Can anyone help?

Ok, got sound out of the sub woofer and one of the satellite speakers. The reason I bought new speakers is because one of my olde speakers wasn't working. Could it be anything internally?

Tried it on my Ipod and all work fine.

I have a pair plugged into my headphone socket on a G5 works great.
