Creating Ringtones for Web

Anybody how to create one from mp3's? I have a client who is asking if this can be done. also to sell it on the site i design for them. thanks lads and lasses

depends on your hardware and what that thing supports. some phones will allow you to loop .mp3 and .wav, much higher quality than some jerky .mid file.
However, you can take .mid files and and make them into .wav and .mp3 using soft synths.

damn, I just read an article on this. Basically, you don't need to buy them anymore, just email to your phone as an attachment. thats what I do... works great, no need to pay
