This is weird, I can't find my type window. it shows as open, but it's not on the screen.
Is there a why to reset the windows back to their original locations?
Also, whenever I move a window to the right, they disapear. Anyone experience that?
Thanks for your help.

that sounds pretty weird dude.
unless you got it off the back of a digital truck... best bet: call adobe and let them know your program is fucking up and hopefully they can help you out.quick fix:
you can go to
> window > workspace > default
to get it back them back to default settings in CS2 (i think it's the same in the other versions)good luck!

it could be hiding behind another palette.
Anyway try closing illustrator and opening it again. It works for me.

I'm working on CS, and can't find the workspace default thing.
Only thing I can think of is to pop the disc in and uninstall/repair.

Try this:
GO to 'window
then 'workspace
then [default]and then once you get it back go to 'workspace again and save your current workspace and you won't have that problem again.

i usually hide all windows using tab and then apple + T or ctrl + T and then reposition it. Otherwise it sounds like your app's gone a bit wiggy

(Feb 9 06, 01:34)I'm working in CS, and there is now workspace under window, I can't find it anywhere.
I'll try and reinstall. Thanks for the advice.

hit "f" to change your screen mode a few times, otherwise try restarting......
