some people over on http://yayhooray.com/ could probably help you more. it's a very tired subject though. companies who can't/won't afford/have the desire to get a well thought out mark go to arteis. they don't take away biz from real designers.
not trying to slam those designers, or you if you have a legit reason to go after them, but if it's the usual "they're killing design", it's old news.
