is totally fucked and won't open anything. keep getting the "indesign has detected a serious error..." message. i can get it to open after deleting the prefs, but anytime i try to open or start a new file it shits the bed. i tried all the trouble shooting on the adobe tech site and still nothing. i noticed adobe updater ran this morning also. has anyone had this problem, and/or know a fix?

If it is a cracked copy, and you are using it whilst on the net it will dial back into the adobe server and disable itself....

it's legit. i'm at work. CS2 premium on OS X 10.4.4.
I've never had any trouble with it at all until today.

john, did you update, change, disable, enable any fonts since the last time you used it? my install did the same thing when did that. it was a long time in between, but disabling those whack fonts did the trick.
