I'm making an invite for an autoshow. Fairly large budget to make something cool. Possibly like a premium iten like a keychain, but also maybe more like a metal invitation or some other treatment. Any ideas? I live in NYC and haven't driven a car in 5 years. Little out of touch.

I'm in NYC too, but most people who drive nowadays bitch about gas prices, so maybe an invitation with a gas card.

maybe an 5x8 or large bcard format, but w/ a die cut of a key in the middle of it (with tabs remaining to hold it there) that can then be used as the ticket stub? thinking maybe the whole thing out of a 110/20 lb cover stock that is one side colored, other natural?
also, nice portfolio btw. dig that babycakes typeface....

hmm, that key idea is pretty awesome. i would call about promotional items but don't really want to outsource.

oh...i was more leaning to brainstorming with him just because we deal with so many things that we can put together as far as a promo item with an awesome presentation, be it a custom die, a custom box or whatever you may thing of...
just tryin to help out...

not to be too persistant, but i see the front stock color in a rich, blue (~ DS 227-5) w/ smooth, white vector drawing and typesetting. on the back, maybe the url or something minimal placed discreetly (w/ the key removed in mind) in the same blue but on that natural colored stock.
sorry, sometimes they just come super strong so i through them out there. good luck!

I do think it could be really cool and is an awesome idea. I'm thinking maybe we'll do something like it on thin metal.
