Havana is where the souls of old cars go when they die...
Nice work. Cuba is a cultural diamond... too bad the rest of us risk arrest if we go!

Arrest? Go to another country and get a visa through their Cuban Embassy. I got on in Africa. Pity was that I couldn't go because of Elian Gonzalez. Should have been called Alien Gonzalez, because that's what he was. Hence all the commotion. Cuba is the lesser of the 6 or so, so-called evils, the US doesn't want you in Libya, The Sudan and North Korea more so than Cuba.

note: it is a violation of the U.S. Bar Association oath to go to Cuba.

This I know, Jaz, but the State Dept. has been buckling down, and very few official visas are being handed out, and even less student visas. And if you get a visa from another country, and you come back to the states, and they find out you spent money in cuba, they will fine you plenty...
if not arrest you.

I touched soil in The Sudan and Libya when in the extreme parts of Egypt.
Don't give f*ck.
Speak a lil Espanol and the consulates eat it up. They want your money.

What many of you may not know, you can rent a boat from the Southern most tip of Florida for $20 bucks a person. The boat takes you out and patrols around the coast for 2 hours.
If you see any Cubans coming in there are various M-16s and RPGs on board that you get to shoot at the boat with.
I think in one day I must have killed about 30 or so people.
Very fun.
But you didn't hear that from me.
