Hi All,
does anyone have any experience of using flash or after effects for a large screen?
I have been asked to produce some graphics/animations for a clients annual award ceremony.
Is there any set dimensions that I should use for this project?
Any help gratefully accepted.

...all I know at the moment is that the screen is huge!

flash will scale nicely, most stuff will actually, that's what projectors do, tyhey make shit bigger.
you can typically do it at a normal screen res, like 1024 x 768, but check with th venue.

its not the screensize you need to find out, its the dimensions if you are wanting the whole thing to scale.
you could have it as a fixed size (say 800x600) and then if the screensize is bigger it will put a background around the 800x600 stage to fill the screen.
or you could build the thing so the whole thing scales to a percentage like some fullscreen/scalable flash sites do.

What you really need to know are two things. Screen ratio, 4x3 or 16x9.
And second if it is going to need to take into account TV safe borders.
