lol @ Crash being nominated for best film over The Constant Gardener. Crash is marginal at best, and the last 20 minutes is pure unadulterated shite. The Constant Gardener is brilliant on every level. How could they blow this so badly?

Hollywood probably doesn't like the The Constant Gardener's flavor of nihilism probed by romantic love/humanitarianism. Too intellectual, even though it's not, it's really simple and great.
